Starý Pivovar | development visualizations
The Residential Complex Starý Pivovar is nestled in the historic heart of Brno's Královo Pole district, just steps away from the Gothic-Baroque monastery and the Church of the Holy Trinity. The complex is located behind the sensitively restored 18th-century former monastery brewery and malt house.
The residential building stretches along the western boundary of the Baroque structures, offering views of its generously designed private park. This six-story building, with a seventh story on the corner of Kollárova Street, features ground-floor parking and comfortable dual-aspect apartments on each level, accessible via a shared gallery along the western façade. The architecture is marked by striking triangular cantilevers, balconies, and terraces, designed to optimize sunlight and harmonize with the historic Baroque context. The articulated façade, clad in brick strips in a natural earthy tone, contributes to the fine-grained detail of the design. Special attention was paid to high-quality finishes, including natural stone cladding in entrance halls, premium plaster, and stairway railings.
A standout feature of the project is the orientation of all apartments toward the shared park, which is rich in greenery and seating areas. This peaceful residential enclave combines tranquility with excellent connectivity to public transportation, the city’s main ring road, and nearby amenities such as shops, schools, and kindergartens. Complementing the historical "Starý Pivovar," the "Nový Pivovar" is an ideal location for serene family living near the city center.
