Competition Proposal for a Multifunctional Building in Pankrác

This competition proposal envisions the construction of a contemporary multifunctional building in the heart of Prague’s Pankrác district. The planned development will include a mix of commercial spaces, a supermarket, and office areas. It is set to replace two existing, outdated structures located directly next to the Kotorská tram stop, strategically positioned between the Pankrác and Pražského povstání metro stations. This prime location offers excellent connectivity to public transport and a high level of foot traffic, making it an ideal spot for this new, modern development.

The design for the building comes from the Holešovice-based architecture studio, Reaktor, which has focused on creating a functional and visually appealing structure that fits harmoniously into the surrounding urban landscape. The new building aims to meet the evolving needs of the area while enhancing the urban environment and providing a modern space for business, shopping, and offices.
